You're right there, it was just the fact that it was 25 years more or less to the day 9th August 1991 that this "leg over" comment occurred, how time flies.

Tonight is the peak of the annual Perseid Meteor Shower, when the Earth passes through the debris of comet Swift-Tuttle. It's predicted that we could be passing through a denser part of the debris, creating up to 200 shooting stars per hour. I saw an early one a couple of nights ago that lasted a couple of seconds and stretched over half of the sky, leaving behind a train that lasted for another couple of seconds. Unfortunately, it's as cloudy as **** but I'm hoping it clears a bit before midnight otherwise I've got tomorrow off for no reason.
