Having to choose our central defence from Chambers, Gabriel, Holding to start the season doesn't exactly fill me with confidence tbh
The market is so crazy that players scoring under 20 goals in the league, and in some cases well below that, are being sold for over £50m. I've been one of Wenger's biggest critics on our transfers but Icardi for over £50m, Laczette for over £40m and Higuain for over £70m is simply ridiculous. The problem is if we don't buy we will get left behind but transfer fees are becoming really sickening.
Ive not watched him that much. GS record is fairly mediocre but he's still young. Interesting that he's a similar style player to Vardy. Personally would prefer Lacazette but Icardi has potential for sure
The only two responses I've got for that is and Hopefully it's just tabloid bull but after squallachi, kallstom, silvestre and the like then I wouldn't put it past wenger!
I thought Icardi had said he was definitely not leaving. I admit I haven't followed this rumour but I thought he'd killed it dead himself.
This is probably the least amount of rumours coming out for Arsenal in quite some time. Are we done in the market?
I sincerely hope not as we are still short in a couple of vital positions, but if Wenger doesn't raise the bar soon we will miss out yet again.
No cant be. Wenger has even admitted he wants a defender and striker. Wouldn't be surprised if he leaves it tis the last day though.
Lacazette and Mustafi rumours seem to have some mileage still. I reckon the Mahrez one is a long shot though. If he goes I think it will be to Spain. One thing is for certain though, as Arsenal fans we are going to be made to wait until the last few mins of the window !!!!
