I said this in the next manager thread, they'll put a positive spin on it saying they want a manager to take us on
If that is the case it could open themselves up for a constructive dismissal claim depending on how they went about it

Do you think that a pay off on a one year rolling contract will be of much concern to a bloke worth £20 million or so?
Been trending for hours. Well only Steve Bruce is right now, we were trending at one point. Are Hull City trending yet?... Has Gerahty said , this Is the biggest Media news the City has had in a long while. Just what was needed.?.
Well at least all those on here who were calling for Steve Bruce to go are happy - although reading some of their posts on here it seems many of them have changed their minds! Well done to OLM who has been proved right in this. He said that he thought that Bruce was close to walking as he did not get on with Ehab. I am a big Bruce fan & I think it's a shame that he has gone - he's been superb for Hull City. But life moves on and there's a big opportunity now for a new broom to come in & make a name for himself. It's a good situation to come into as expectations amongst many are low, and so staying in the Premier League will be seen as a big achievement. Thank you Steve Bruce for all that you have done for us and good luck in the future.

If you were half as daft as Patsy, you'd say: "This fandango beats all these players getting crippled"...The offseason has been very boring till today.

Thank you for taking the time to pen that in response. I was trying to say what you have without calling someone to whom you replied.. States it perfectly..People had genuine concerns about Bruce leading us this season and I think they were justified.
That doesn't mean that they aren't furious about what has happened today.
Bruce is a dignified, likeable guy that has achieved more at this club than any other manger ever has and probably ever will, he's earned a huge amount of respect from our fans and deserves much better than to be pushed out by these clowns.
So basically just pocketing any income that comes and no investing
Well suppose us as fans shall sit back and let it happen
Its more than 5% of his net worth so its more than arbitrary amount of money to him. However I don't believe it played any part in his decisions.

How can you have no money when you're about to drop for your share of the biggest TV revenue deal in the history of the game?Jim White @JimWhite
A frustrated Steve Bruce told me on Monday he needed six new players but there was no money - 'very difficult' were his words.
