Hopefully, he will be free to speak rather than be gagged as previous managers have been. One or two interesting nuggets coming out in the national media- like Allams miffed they weren't consulted re the England interview, and SB exasperated that he couldn't contact them to inform them of the approach.
Hence why i think they played for this as i said earlier and the party still interested did not or does not want Bruce as the manager.
A club source* says - “There was a total breakdown between Steve and Ehab. It could not be repaired. Steve has grown tired of fighting and felt he had no other choice but to resign." http://www.hulldailymail.co.uk/stev...tory-29541347-detail/story.html#ixzz4F9U5YHya *club source is always Mooney, I don't know why they don't just say so.
Next time I see Mooney acting the **** in Cottingham, I'm gonna kick him in the bollocks. The twat, him.
Tom Huddlestone @Huddz8 Never good to lose a manager especially one who has signed you and done so well for the club. Wish him all the best for the future. I suspect any player tweets are going to be very carefully written.
Well at least all those on here who were calling for Steve Bruce to go are happy - although reading some of their posts on here it seems many of them have changed their minds! Well done to OLM who has been proved right in this. He said that he thought that Bruce was close to walking as he did not get on with Ehab. I am a big Bruce fan & I think it's a shame that he has gone - he's been superb for Hull City. But life moves on and there's a big opportunity now for a new broom to come in & make a name for himself. It's a good situation to come into as expectations amongst many are low, and so staying in the Premier League will be seen as a big achievement. Thank you Steve Bruce for all that you have done for us and good luck in the future.
Nash has got win best headline of the week... Yanks fly, boss walks, damn nitty gritty! Big. Bad. City. http://www.hullcityindependent.net/?page=news&news_id=1871
If Bruce did stay on hoping for a payout then I think he made the wrong decision. No vacancies came up for him I guess so he just stayed on, but I think he should have left when it was clear they wouldn't give guarantees.
I said this in the next manager thread, they'll put a positive spin on it saying they want a manager to take us on
Do you think that a pay off on a one year rolling contract will be of much concern to a bloke worth £20 million or so?
