Off Topic The Goodhand Arms

My wife went to buy a new car today - another Fiat 500 as she likes the one she's got. She had an option to get just a normal one, or for £20 extra a month(which I offered to pay) she could have had a cracking red Abarth version with a proper engine and fun performance. She chose the normal one and as a result I'm not remotely interested in it, and will never drive it. She has known that I've been a bit of an Abarth fan for years, but because if my job, can't really have one myself....is she being a selfish bitch by choosing the boring one, when it wasn't a cost issue, wasn't a colour issue, and isn't even a big increase on insurance and running costs(which again, I offered to pay any difference)? She enjoyed the test drive in both, the equipment levels were similar.... I just don't understand her decision at all.
Am really pissed off with her, like proper pissed off but trying not to show it...I was planning on doing a few things this weekend with the family, I don't think I'll bother now, is that unreasonable?

Umm... yes, it is unreasonable, as is calling your wife a bitch :emoticon-0146-punch She sounds very much like me, no interest in cars at all, I just need them to be comfortable to drive and reliable. I don't know what an Abarth is but she's probably happy and confident driving something she knows and quite possibly thought that the car would become more yours than hers. Don't mean to be harsh (well, yes, I probably do) but grow up, for goodness sake!

Yes. And she is clever...as you say, you won't drive it. :)
