I really didn't trust the polls this time though - I don't think I ever will again after last years election. They have got it wrong again - last poll had 8 point remain victory.

I am pro immigration. We have lots of skills gaps. I am anti-mass immigration of unskilled labour. We have plenty of unskilled labour that want to work. Yes there are dossers but there are genuinely lots of people that truly want a job but can't get jobs and are costing the NHS a pretty penny on depression treatments (which hides them from unemployment figures.)

One of the things that riles people like me is the way the remain side can keep on banging on about the NHS "It would collapse if it weren't for immigrants" Yes we know but they are skilled jobs. Get them in however while you are at it don't think you can get rid of nurses bursary and continue importing nurses forever. Train up British nurses. This constant attempt to make this into "we don't want any immigrants has backfired because not many people are even suggesting that. they just want to stop this mass flood of people that agencies and employers then employ immediately (mostly before they arrive) and then perpetuate this "we can't get British workers" myth because it just isn't true. We were doing the job before so they can't keep saying that "they are only doing the jobs the Brits won't do"

Not sure. I like Jacob Rees Mogg but I don't think he would go down well with most people. He is very sensible and actually does understand normal people outside the bubble but in these days of image will he work?

Boris is popular in the country. He plays the buffoon act very well but he is a very good speaker, motivator but I am not so sure he would go a route that would appease normal people. David Davies has come out of this referendum very well and if Gove hadn't riled the Doctors and Nurses then he would be the No1 option. Cameron gave him the jobs that would get him hated though because Cameron wants Osborne as next leader. We will have to see because a lot of these Tory MPs that voted remain are going to struggle to hang on to their seats unless they play ball and some that are in peril may need to be recalled and byelections held to get someone in before the next GE.

I am not really a cold hard Tory like some major or general. I am a realist.

Rees Mogg won't appeal to the electorate on the whole - isnt relatable. Though, I do actually have more respect for someone like him than Boris - he actually has some core principles that he sticks with.

What about Andrea Ledsom? She did really well in the debates didnt she?

Peter Kellner and all the others should retire. You only had to walk around the Council estates to know this was going to be very close if remain was to win. All these establishment figures thought that the lower paid working classes and unemployed wouldn't get off their sofas but there was a queue at my polling station this morning. Never seen a queue there before not even in the GEs.

John Curtice is pretty good (and my wife works for the same research company as him!) but yes the other pollsters are terrible.

Do you think people want an ex city type in with the current mood? Farage might get away with it but now is not the time to put someone like that in charge. She was the best in both the debates I watched along with Gisela stewart. My honest money would be on Davies against Boris and the grassroots will probably choose Boris with Gove as CofE. Not my choice but at least Cameron and Osborne would be finished. Blair and Brown mkII

    Yay JRM is on.

I can touch type. I used to work in accountancy before everybody needed to communicate well. I have aspergers and cannot get words out face to face and as communication face to face and even presentations and stuff became more and more common I just couldn't deal with it. Went into access databases for a while but then that went the same way so I went to pack eggs with normal people and loved it. until they got rid of us all. I am not your average NMW unskilled worker. just someone who can't deal with people face to face. I am fine typing because I can edit things and assess if what I typed should be said or not before it has come out.

Yes John Curtice deals with facts. The other try and tie in all the left and right things that do not apply anymore. Left people are voting UKIP. There is no left and right anymore.

Hilary Benn still hasn't got the gist. "we think the majority of Labour voters will have voted remain" Is he including the now SNP voters?

Lincoln votes to leave. Thats my vote counted.

56.9% leave. There are 5000+ Uni students here and Beeb thought that would swing it to remain.

But majority of Labour voters isn't enough: Tories will vote for Brexit 2:1, UKIP universally, so Labour need to have 75% In vote really.
