Pound tanking like ****. Glad I don't own a business that has to trade outside UK.

The pound tanking is a good thing though right.....

Good for exporters. Means our products if they used to cost $1000 now cost $950. Means not a lot to us unless it is long term. Those companies in the UK that import means things cost more.

This won't be a long term thing though. A lot of it is because of all the hedge funds gambling these days rather than actual markets. Hedge funds will be panicking a bit.

I always wonder why politicians are quite so cagey after the polls have closed. Ruth Davidson must be at least slightly concerned by the early results but she's sticking totally to the "too early to say anything" line rather than even going as far as "These results don't look great from what's being said but it's still very early".

As someone from an export-driven country that is reliant on the outside world for a great many things: it's going to be very, very painful for consumers. When the Canadian dollar tanked alongside oil earlier this year, food prices and other cost-of-living expenses went through the roof.

Another panic call by my boss:

If Brexit happens we will lose about 30% of our income and might have to lay off people.
**** that. The bookies are almost never wrong, I still trust them.

Got this from a person who works in banking.

The Welsh leader woman made up for it though. You could tell she was down and worried and talking about politics having to listen and wake up.

I thought London would easily save the remain camp before but now I am getting a bit enthused because the rest of England could give leave a good enough result to counter the London weighting.
I have a funny feeling we may see more extreme variations in the results than people were expecting. Going by what I saw on the streets of Hammersmith today and what I see from my London-based friends on Facebook, London will vote very heavily for Leave.

Hedge fund? £ will not tank forever and will recover a lot quicker than all the doom mongers say.

If London doesn't total a good remain margin then its all over already.

People will still lose their jobs that is the whole point.
People have been losing their jobs for a long long time because of this freedom of movement and it would continue. None of these people were bothered about us getting ditched for migrants.

Angela Eagle is digging Labour further into a hole here. People have said for years they were losing their jobs, they were ignored and called liars and the working class areas (without universities) are going to hammer remain tonight
