For the record the UK has led the world in workers rights.

Leaving the EU won't cause a collapse.

Like staying in won't help the French ones currently on strike.

This is a classic project fear lie.

I made up my mind in the seventies and that is to get out of this corrupt bunch of so called politicians. I walked past a shop in Brid today which had Brexit themed posters all over it. One stood out for me when a poster had a picture of the Queen and that 'square head'. Merkyl on it. Underneath it said "which one would you prefer" Easy decision for anyone to make. Please let the 'LEAVE' win.

It isn't. Under Conservative rule workers rights are already being eroded. If not protected by the EWTD they will be eroded further.

I'm not making political comments but I don't think you should base your vote on personalities, you can't lump in Dennis Skinner and the likes of the late Tony Benn with the right wingers you mention
I'm not - hence my last sentence which you have ignored. It is a fact, though, that it is the right wing of the Tory party and the far right groups that are mainly supporting the Leave campaign. I have never been a xenophobic "Little Englander" which is how I regard these people and I certainly aren't going to become one now!!

Some people planning on voting to leave are racists, simple as, however, plenty of people voting to stay aren't especially great either, plenty of "I'm alright Jack" sorts. You can't decide on which way to vote based on which overall set of people are less ****y though, you need to make your own decision, do what you feel is right. That's what I'm doing, and either way it'll feel very wrong! Aren't the Tories clever, getting us all wound up and divided by all this.

Better to be like Gordon Brown and lie about holding a referendum?

My dad's a rabid leave supporter. His reasoning is based entirely on spite filled hate.

My teenage kids want to stay, so I vote for the next generation, not the previous one.

And also there's Boris, Gove, Farage and Galloway.

Hope this is ok Mods. I'm not like some of you lot who can post all day tomorrow and discuss it. Close it the day after.

I' m a definite OUT. I doubt it will happen though. The scaremongering has been a disgrace. The use of the Mp being killed has also been a disgrace.
I saw Cameron have his arse handed to him on Sunday night on the BBC, 3 hours later on the BBC news it was so heavily edited to make him look brilliant it was sickening.

So, IN or OUT and try and be civil.

never thought i'd agree so much with you

but i do.

OUT

Assuming you're right, an in vote with Corbyn as the alternative will guarantee years more Tory rule, which will see further erosion.

"Little Englander" smacks of the dog-whistle self-loathing of some of the snobbier among us.
Hates: our Empire, our 'chavs' (dog whistle for working class who don't know their place), our cuisine, our weather and our nuance-free worldview.
Paradoxically, these snobby ****s reveal their ignorance of all things foreign. Most countries in Europe are far more inward-looking and vainglorious than us. Kleine Osterreichen or petits Francais anyone?
