You're right, we have hardly lost a game under him. We've just lost all the games that mattered.
I don't blame him for how poor we looked at Euro 2012 as he was thrown in at the last second, but any manager who did what we did at the 2014 World Cup should not still be in that job.
It's great how having piss easy groups in which even playing averagely (which is what we did) helps make your record look better on paper, eh?
Yes it is.[/QUOTE`]
we could get away with a draw making our last game a must win
It's not a must win. It's not even a must not lose.
it is a game that we have to get something from
Curtis Woodhouse is confident, he's just announced that if England don't win, he'll give £1,500 to charity.
NO! Wales are a 1 man team?
..never..
The 2014 WC was exactly like the Russia game. We played very well but lost. Obviously at some point you can't keep excusing that, but we really didn't play poorly.
Under Hodgson we've had some excellent results, but they get ignored or brushed aside. We beat the World Champions. Yes it was only a friendly but lesser sides never seem to beat us in friendlies so we're obviously doing something right that Germany aren't. I agree he needs some tournament wins sooner rather than later. That key weakness is what's plagued every England manager for decades though. It's obviously not a Hodgson issue.
He's played the youngsters like everyone wanted but as soon as they get a few games and stop being the hipster's choice people want them out again!
Wasnt long ago everyone was ****ing over Ramsey.
