Well, if he did things which made sense, such as not picking players who've played like ****e, people wouldn't be able to find things to complain about.

You seem to always try to find an excuse to defend Hodgson.

I don't really have to look for excuses. Just look past the insanely over the top hysteria from some on here and perhaps look at the fact we've hardly ever lost a game under him. How on earth can it be considered strange to defend him?

I think its just cos he isnt charismatic.
but football is a results business and 60.38% is good by anyones standards.

You're right, we have hardly lost a game under him. We've just lost all the games that mattered.

I don't blame him for how poor we looked at Euro 2012 as he was thrown in at the last second, but any manager who did what we did at the 2014 World Cup should not still be in that job.


It's great how having piss easy groups in which even playing averagely (which is what we did) helps make your record look better on paper, eh?

Not really the argument but that's not true is it? If we had we wouldnt have qualified for the 2 tournaments.
