The England fan who underwent CPR in the street yesterday is alive, but is in an induced coma. He's a Pompey fan and a Hampshire boy. Thoughts with him and his family.
Was going to mention this earlier, myself. I suppose it shouldn't surprise because plenty of people are natural linguists, but it's just odd to see it in a footballer.
When I hear Shearer making comments I sometimes find myself willing him not to say them when he means those, or took when he means taken, etc... I think to myself, he's not unintelligent. He can learn. But he hasn't yet.
Jens Lehmann was good tonight as well. Except when he tried to talk about the EU Referendum, Conor McNamara had to shut him up.
