Have enjoyed the debate up to now, but if I don't get on with the decorating before the misses gets back, either "in or out" will be irrelevant.

I think Russia and its fans are showing us in the Euros what it's like to be a country outside the EU. I dont want us to turn into them. If you dont like it here I suggest you go live in Russia for a while. Trek across Siberia and see the hardship they're facing. The weather's bloody awful!

The economists probably didn't know it was coming. The full extent of the corruption and illegal selling of mortgages only really came to light after the event.

True, there were some warning signs in the enormous growth of The Mortgage backed Securities market, but nobody knew or expected the depth or size of it.

I predict you'll be out the door and in the dog house, if you don't get the DIY finished.

Bit rich to imply that I might be a coward (Bluey will love that) given you've just said you would only fight if every man in the country was also prepared to fight! That's hardly putting yourself forward pal!

...and he didn't do that so all these darkies and gypos could come over here taking our jobs and shagging our women....

I ****ing hate it when the right wing boneheads start bleating on about 'We fought a war for England to be free and now we've given all our power to Brussels'. We fought in the war against Fascism and for a free Europe, where countries could co-exist and cooperate instead of tearing lumps out of each other, not for some isolationist or nationalistic agenda.

Just to clarify my standpoint is a little right of center. Also to add, the regressive lefts slow takeover has been far more damaging than anything the lunatic far right could ever actually achieve.

And this is my problem with a lot of what's coming out of the leave campaign. This is far too important a decision to allow the likes of Farage to use it as "national front rally". My grandad, like many, fought in the war and I'm sure that all he wanted was a free and fairer society for himself and his family. If this is in Europe, I'm sure that didn't matter to him.

So that is 45% to a group of 27 countries and 55% to the other 170 plus countries. That equates to 1.66% per EU country and 0.32% to all others. Also Tobes did not claim that it was 50% he said it was almost 50%. Please read and understand carefully before playing with a keyboard.

Right on cue Bluey. You'd ask to meet up with all of them. For tea and a fumble though, not a fight!

Lets play a game of who said this...

‘The two governments declare that France and Great Britain shall no longer be two nations, but one Franco-British Union… Every citizen of France will enjoy immediately citizenship of Great Britain; every British subject will become a citizen of France.’

    Or this...

‘Hard as it is to say now.. I look forward to a United States of Europe, in which the barriers between the nations will be greatly minimised and unrestricted travel will be possible.’

    Or this...

‘We aim at the eventual participation of all the peoples throughout the continent whose society and way of life are in accord with the Charter of Human Rights.’

    Or this...

‘We cannot aim at anything less than the Union of Europe as a whole, and we look forward with confidence to the day when that Union will be achieved.’
