While he may be a billionaire, he's not what you can consider "Mega Wealthy" like Mansour/Abrahmovich so your stadium and all of the development he's planning will be built on debt, as well as pumping money in for transfers you best hope you reach Europe pretty soon and pretty consistently, if you fail to do this you could see the purse strings tightened very quickly.
I've no idea how he intends structuring his investment, most likely would be a combination of borrowings and equity release. I do think that he will be joined in his enterprise at Goodison with AN other investor though..........
Tobes, if you are anything to go by, Everton fans are a reasonable, rational bunch, who understand the realities of creating genuine 'organic' growth and improvement towards a sustainable future (ie remarkably similar to Saints fans). However, are you certain that your new owner will be happy to invest a not inconsiderable sum, just to get "back in the mix for the EL places"? You have no lingering doubts that the owner will expect instant gratification, in whatever form that takes?
That sounds fair enough, at the end of the day no one knows at this point but it's definitely something that could come back and bite you on the ass. BTW, I liked you more before you changed your Avatar to some red faced, overweight ginger guy...
Moshiri has been involved in PL football quite a while now, having had a 30% combined stake in Arsenal with his mate Usmanov. So he's not some delusional billionaire who's just rocked up and is going to expect instant success imo. As he knows just how much 'instant gratification' costs in the PL. Ultimately the realistic expectation will always be in relation to the budget, so we'll wait and see just how much that budget ends up being mate. As Blues we are generally quite pragmatic and we're also capable of sussing out a bullshitter fairly quickly, which is why many of us weren't having Martinez for about 18 months prior to his demise.
https://www.whoscored.com/Teams/18/Show/-Southampton Shows how much game-time each player had, JWP was mainly used as a sub - but still averages 46 mins per appearance from 14(19) in the league. Apparently there are issues with the academy in general, but in terms of using u21 players - Harrison Reed is what everyone is pissed off at, 10 minutes total in the league last season. Compared with decent match-time for JWP and Targett. IMO Reed is not at their level, but 10 minutes is a bit of a joke seeing as he looked promising last season.
We used to sing that to Nicky Barmby, the turncoat snidey little ****e. Singing die, die Nicky, die die Nicky, die, die Nicky Nicky die. It used to slay the little prick, you could see him wilt, not sure the Hull fans quite understood it when we used to go there lol.
I get the feeling you are quite lonely on your board? Are you the only poster or something? Shouldn't you be back there gloating and sniggering with your mates instead of boring us all to death here.
No-one else barring you seems to have an issue with me posting here pal. Given you've been obnoxious to me in every post you've replied to, why not use the ignore function if you don't care to read my posts Failing that, go **** yourself sideways with a marrow, you arsey ignorant twat
