If he is at St Mary's he may be there for an interview. I'd be pretty disappointed with De Boer.I saw that on Twitter, thought it was a joke - if it's for real, then I'm happy we're getting it sorted quick.

I wasn't laughing at Tobes. £6-7m a year kind of changes it.

What'd be wrong with de Boer? Him and AVB are top of my realistic shortlist. If he is at St Mary's he may be there for an interview. I'd be pretty disappointed with De Boer.
I think I agree. There's just something about AVB, something I can't quite put my finger on, that I'm not convinced by.I'm open to other candidates but at the moment, I think he's my favourite.
Europa League winner, too. Would, in that sense, be a bit of a statement from us going into this year's competition.
From what the people in the know have said around £2.5m- £3m a year. Which was doubling his money he was on before. So Everton have given him a crazy offer that makes him the 6th or 7th highest paid manager in the world.Do we know how much we've offered?
I remember he did go and confront Neil Ashton (he of [HASHTAG]#MELTDOWN[/HASHTAG] and [HASHTAG]#EXODUS[/HASHTAG] fame) in a press conference for trying to be divisive at Spurs.I think I agree. There's just something about AVB, something I can't quite put my finger on, that I'm not convinced by.
The best-informed Spurs fan I know thinks AVB's a very good coach but very thin-skinned and he reckons that causes problems for him. If that's true we'd probably be a good English option for him - good squad, not too much press coverage, no crazy expectations so he's likely to be given time if things don't quite go right at at any point...
I'd much rather have AVB.What'd be wrong with de Boer? Him and AVB are top of my realistic shortlist.
Agreed. So theoretically speaking, but remaining realistic, who would people have on their list of five managers to sound out?
I'll go first...
AVB
Howe
De Boer
Garcia
Schmidt

They really didn't get on and AVB wasn't afraid to call Ashton out on writing BS. Perhaps he reads and cares too much, for some.
Pretty sure AVB thought that was the case. Also, although he denied it, I doubt he appreciated Redknapp's running commentary on his job.Wasn't a fair amount of AVB's downfall down to Sherwoods backstabbing to his media mates?
Ah yes sorry arry was pre avb. Yes he got 72 pts but surely he should have done better with that squad? And they made some crap purchases with him in charge. He got 72 points. I really don't understand how people think he *wasn't* good at Spurs.
I've got a mate who's a Spurs STH and he said AVB deserved more support from the board and wasn't supported through the rocky patch. They played some good stuff under him and he set their record Premier League points total.
They had a rocky patch and Levy got trigger finger. Ronald did the same earlier this season and Les showed that's not his style.
AVB likes projects, has a similar philosophy and his meticulous approach suits the club too. I'd be chuffed with him.
* - also, Harry didn't come along and make him look bad. He was post-Harry and they then bumbled along with Sherwood before pinching Poch off of us.
Garcia....nice curveball.
I think Schmidt would be mad to leave. Champions League footie and clearly got them on an upwards curve with an ethos everyone buys into. I also think we may take advantage of the Euros to try and land an international manager coming to the end of a reign...
I think:
AVB
Howe
Low
Deschamps
FDB

It doesn't matter who they wanted they didn't get any. Liverpool wanted Jay btw.
