That is a little odd, personally, I'd be happy if we signed him.

Powell will not return to Manchester Utd. His contract ends in June and by all accounts has no wish to.

Like OLM, I would also like us to sign him. A good addition and we have Aluko & Taylor's wages now freed up.

Powell will not return to Manchester Utd. His contract ends in June and by all accounts has no wish to.

His contract ends a month today, even if he was no future there, he'll still back and be formally released.

I think it was hoped he would still be as effective as he was at Celtic. Obviously he isn't. He made a few noises about wanting to go back to Malaysia to finish his career, we could probably let him do that.
