I have quite a few friends that have been or are in the Army. When they were younger they were wee gabshites and lacked direction, the army taught them discipline, respect and structure. To be honest made them better people,
Saying that my wee american cousin is training for the Navy Seals and the ****in **** they go through is unreal. I've heard all before about them breaking a man down to build him back up, but he has went through 1 training season already and the things he described to me were ****in hectic.
I seriously couldn't put my body through that.
I fully support the armed forces and the job that they do but I would think long and hard about what you are doing. It's no boys club out in the desert, it's tough work and takes it takes it's toll mentally and physically.
I have to say, I could never do it. I care to much for my family and love ones and for me to leave my woman to hold the fort for months on end would be too much of an ask for me.
