watched a thing last night about the brits in afghanistan and they even admitted '' they were the problem in iraq'' but in afghanistan they were making a difference. then a guy got killed and the platoon lieutenant or something wrote a letter to the guys family that contradicted the official story (he didnt know that at the time )
It's under warranty so I'll be taking it back up. Just a ****ing nause as it's in Chadwell Heath which is pikey central
I joined the army at 16 in 1998. Took the para option. Stayed in for 8 and a bit years. Loved it. Edit - Completed two tours of Iraq, Those people saying respect ect Not needed IMO. All sqaddies know what there signin up for.
Though I'm only currently in the ta, i'm gonna be joining regs full time in next few months. Best thing i've done by far. As for possibility of death/injury, its part of the job, hence the reason not everyone joins. I'd say army over any other too but thats my biased opinion Worth it!
I wonder if they all pull straws for the patrol duty,it seems more of our lot get blown up and lose their legs than die,I think the bravery starts right there for me,to be at the peak of fitness one day and the next, you have no legs!,god it must be so easy to wanna give up,maximum respect to the soldiers that fight past that chapter and go onto walk with artificial limbs.
Full Time...Argentina 1 v 0 Mexico Going to put it all on there being a penalty in Rangers game @ 11/4
