Can someone please tell me why Sherwood would be a good choice?

What has he done in management that makes people suggest him so much?

    Seriously, why Sherwood?

    I don't get that either.

I also don't get why a manager who's gotten other teams promoted, even twice, is seen as a good thing, bearing in mind Bruce has done that.

I still do not believe a good manager suddenly turns **** either. Bruce if we didn't have him, would be someone most would want, so why do we want to get rid and get someone else in less good? I find that baffling.

For me, it's the players, not the manager, who are mostly at fault for our season this year.

I'm assuming you know him (I apologise if I've got it wrong) would he do his badges or is it not for him

Couldn't agree more. I can understand why people want Bruce out, many players have underperformed in the last two seasons and the likes of Elmo and Diame clearly have issues with something, but why on earth do people think the likes of particularly Tim Sherwood would be better than Bruce?

    Baffled.

Guess team motivation isnt in Bruces vocabulary.

    Better than hoof ball.
    I guess.

Personally, I'd like Allardyce if Sunderland go down. Similar to Bruce but much, much more attacking-minded. Would suit us well I think.

That was my point, the win ratio alone doesn't tell you everything.

I do know him and he's never given any indication of wanting to be back in the game, quite the opposite in fact.

yeah I get what youre saying but I guess that win ratio is all that matters.
Football is a results game after all.

Isn't it in Benitez's contract that he can go if they go down?

Is anyone able to tell us why they'd want Sherwood?

You are just one of those and I don't mean to put you on the spot but I just think it's ridiculous that no one can give a reason for wanting him as our manager.

I reckon so, but if we dont go up, he wont come.
Personally Id love Rafa to come to City... he has a win ratio comparable to SAF

Shame, we could do with him around the dressing room. I imagine he'd be better at motivating than Bruce

initially I thought Sherwood was a good shout, but I think its cos he is a 'big name'. Mind you... SB was a big name too.
I think thats what seduced us fans.
I really hope we can get shot of SB.

Surely there is only one choice. Hollowhead and the Allams. What a combo.

Always a "grass is greener" brigade.

All these managers have been binned off by clubs with bigger resources.

We have been up, almost won an FA cup, and are still punching above our station. We have no right to expect more as a given, and few teams can sustain remaining in the PL.

I can't see why any of the managers mooted on here would be any magic wand. We will do well to repeat the success we have had whatever, and a new manager is just hope. Th best managers are always those who aren't available!

Increase sales locally in gilets? There's no plausible footballing reason.

Not as ridiculous as wanting Holloway. I don't particularly want Sherwood but wouldn't resent his appointment.
