Well now, I read 'AN ALLY' as 'ANALLY'; and, thinking of Bruce Wayne and his young charge, I reckon I may not be far wrong...
It was closed to high sided vehicles, but he crossed it anyway. It was shut both ways for a couple of hours, but it's reopened now.
Will the van driver face charges and be required to pay for the damage? Bloody lucky the falling lamp didn't hit a vehicle coming the other way.
It happens quite regularly and I don't think they're often charged with anything. There's only a toll at one end, so here's no-one to stop them driving on from the south side.
There should be a catch-all I've often thought there should be a catch-all offence on the books whereby one could be charged with being a ****ing Arsehole and upon conviction, receive an appropriate number of kicks up the arse by a size 12 army boot. The severity of the convicted Arsehole's offence would determine the number of kicks. I reckon this van driver deserves at least a dozen!

Someone's definately made a boob there. Nice lampshades, although I know that that style has its knockers. Good attempt at interior lighting but I'm afraid it's all gone tits up. Etc,etc,etc.
