I don't do squeaky bum time or any other bottom party tricks. I have lived a lifetime of disappointment that I'm used to it by now and take it all in my stride. We go up we don't go up. In the broad sphere of life it isn't earth shattering. Nobody has a given right to win anything and I've long since accepted that. Not that you would understand that Saints Alive. For your lot it's more about who is bigger or smaller than how the game was played.
I do have a look around the forums and if you take a gander then most of the teams in contention are working out who they will beat and where sufficient points will come from to carry the day. If only it was that easy we'd all be millionaires. Well we wouldn't because the bookies would have gone out of business long ago. They have worked it all out and know exactly what points they will end up with. If you listen to supporters then at least 5 teams will be third at the end. As a bye product of that reasoning, even if that doesn't work they will all go to Wembley anyway and they even know who they will be playing. Having watched my team/club go into meltdown and nearly disappear out of the leagues altogether I just go with the flow these days. There was never going to be some rich big bollox riding to the rescue for us. We are too far South West to be on an Oily Garks radar. So as said, we go up via one of the options or we don't and that really is it for me. I'm just pleased for a team like Leicester giving it up em this season to all you "we are bigger than them" types. My pleasures are simple nowadays.
