Well even after tonight's shambles against Bournemouth I would venture to suggest we aren't going down so the thread is redundant bereft of life it deserves no more it is best left to decompose in the fullness of time - we are not at war so there is no enemy just fellow supporters mostly enjoying friendly rivalry

antipodean exile, I would respectfully point out that the thought process behind the creation of this thread was indeed lets bash the enemy. Now there may not be too much hostility about and certainly there is little malice in the posts but bashing rivals (aka enemies) is the objective nevertheless. I just depair at the dereliction of duty from somebody coming from a Service Town. It's akin to sleeping on watch which in Nelson's day was a flogging offence. Shocking.
To be fair'SCUMMERS GOING DOWN?' the original thread ran for the entire season last year, this has been a long season for me, so the occasional cat nap on duty is perhaps predictable and permissable?
There needs to be less worry about the Southampton, & more focus on the Northampton, after all if you can't keep up with them, we won't be on your radar for many a year.
That's the whole point of the thread title History. If it comes true you just might be not only on the radar but in sight of the bridge lookout. SB3 it is never acceptable to nap whilst on duty irrespective of personal problems. "England expects......." and all that.
Well SG you have instilled some excitement back into the season - do I take it you are advocating that SB3 should be flogged for dereliction of duty if so my man I'm well and truly in it certainly would dim his ring of confidence - hurrah hurrah!!!!

Keep up Saints Alive. We aren't talking Scummers 2. It could come true in Scummers 3 or 4 or even 5 if it takes that long. I'm sure SB3 is going to be up for it whenever it happens. And yes antipodean I do think flogging is an apt punishment for "napping". Not professional and shows a lack of staying power. Annual write up would have to be "could do better".
You and SB might have a long wait for your dreams to come true, last time we were in the top division for 27 consecutive years and have spent 40 out of the last 50 seasons there, why do you think SB is so bitter? Quick question, when was the last time Argyle were in the top league?...
