I'm concerned with how he has treated Hayden this season, he's got to grips with the squad rotation issues he had before the New Year apart from that Bruce, for example you don't see poor Meyler being flogged like a Spanish donkey every game now. For some reason Hayden has vanished again though despite being an ideal replacement for Jake who seems to morph into Junior Lewis when he is doing extra workloads making up for Diame and Huddlestones slowness
reserves champing at the bit to get a game in, cold Tuesday night up north, Wenger claiming that he`s not under any pressure, it`s got all the makings of an upset, oh how i`d giggle, c`mon city do `em.
Arsene Wenger claims Hull City game is the most important in the Gunners’ lives What he actually says, is that the next game is always the most important game of our lives... http://www.livesoccertv.com/news/17...ame-is-the-most-important-the-gunners-lives/?
That role applies to Santi Cazorla who thankfully wont be playing. SG always plays well against us. Same team as the first game imho. They deserve it. Aluko to come on at some point. Everything points to an away win. If only football was as simple as that.
I'd love it if we beat them, love it! Must be the anniversary of Keegan saying that as I've heard it a few times today. We did over Leicester and Swansea so we can do over Arsenal, that Swansea match was reminiscent of an Arsenal team in full flight as they truly battered us and we had the Jak in crazy mode yet still won.
Love to beat them its a one off home game so although not expected it can be done and if not its back to the league and a Saturday home game again at last.
The FA website is a bit disrespectful to us as it shows the quarter final as being a Sunday game against Watford, with just a side note saying it will be Saturday if we beat Arsenal.
Well, I normally do NOT do MORNINGS. I usually rise about mid-day but shall make the effort and set the alarm for 5.55am. Fortunately, I will NOT have to get out of bed as the match is 'live' on good old SKY. Think the Gunners will be too strong for us and will win 2-0 but I shall nevertheless cheer my team on.
For the last home win in the FA Cup we have to go back to a replay in Jan. 1908. Following a 0-0 played in London we beat them 4-1 at Anlaby Rd. They played as Woolwich Arsenal in those days.
I'd be a lot more confident if their Barcelona game wasn't now a dead rubber. The FA cup is now their only chance of a trophy this season they'll put a strong side out.
FA cup has been Arsenal's 'champions league' for years now, all their eggs are firmly in the FA cup basket so I expect them to take it more seriously than us. That said, tonight is virtually a free shot for us, a real nothing to lose match with no pressure, where as it's anything but for them.
