They were supposed to go up over the weekend, but James had a more pressing matter to attend to, so there was a slight delay (he's not on holiday, he's on paternity).
Just read CI and theres a bit of a teaze on there from people in the know... "Reading between the lines, the £2 charge has served it's purpose for what is about to be rolled out. All will become clear very soon. Earn your stripes. The ****'s gonna hit the fan on two key points for me, but you know what, overall, I think it's dynamic. Very interested to see how this will be received."
We got beat by palace 4-2 or something a week later and Bolton got a few against us at the same time, and I remember a lot losing their heads over how crap our defence was.
What's the membership thing that they've been teasing on the screens at games? Or is that just what they're calling our new season passes?
Well if theres a so called " Dynamic ticket" initiative upcoming they could do with it now. 7 games to go!!! so cant leave it much longer
It will be the way season passes are going, its a trend across world sport, American and Australian sports have had them for a while I think. I suspect it will be a tiered system, something like: Tier 1 - no matches but a heavy discount on tigers player and shop discount Tier 2 - small number of games and tigers player cheap Tier 3 - half the games Tier 4 - what we now know as a season pass Tier 5 - corporate level This is just based on what other clubs that I've seen do a membership do, there are even some clubs that do a pet membership!
Yep, all very common in Australian support. I'm a member of my AFL club, I get access to all home season games, and priority access to Finals tickets. I also get a quarterly magazine, a hat, etc. etc. I could pay a lot less and not get access to games, but still get a lot of merchandise.
it will be like everything else they've introduced on ticketing - it will be an utter **** up to start with, it will lose some more fans and then they'll try and sort it out
Details of the new membership scheme will go out to everyone next week. They're more radical than have been suggested on this thread and will need to be handled far better than the club have managed in the recent past. Fingers crossed.
Will we be expected to be signing up to something that doesn't have 'Hull City' anywhere in the title ?
