it meant all those in season pass holders in N5 got kicked out of their seats with no alternative being offered
Perhaps if they made their specific concerns public, people could help them. There's nothing explicit in the green book that precludes it.
You do know our last Championship season was 2012/13 dont you? Try that and you'll see it is roughly the same.
Some people seem to think we where playing to packed out attendances in our last championship. Even the last game of the season v Cardiff there was still tickets available on the day.
I've had this argument a few times. Our attendances were shocking and we were playing some of if not the best football we've ever played. Weird coincidence but on the 2/3/13 we played Brum at home. Attendance 17,146 Saturday at 3pm. We won 5-2. I shoulda saved this for the match thread bugger...
It wasn't some of the best football we've ever played. There was the odd stellar performance, granted far more than we've seen this season (which far more investment in players), but for the most part it was ****e, specially once Aluko got crocked.
Aluko injured in November i think. We beat Brum 5-2 in March but its **** its **** all ****. Its the ****test 5-2 in the history of football. Truly awful.
It was a bit cheaper to get in that year but at £27/28 not exactly a bargain. I got a pass for the last 6/7 games i think it was £120
I can't prricularly remember that one, I remember that old bloke belted in that scorcher on the volley for them very similar to Joe Ralls for Cardiff a year or two earlier. The stand out performances I can think of that season were Bolton and Millwall at home and Watford away. There were a few more I know but I can't remember which.
That's not a comparable season at all. Our crowds are higher immediately after PL relegation even if the team aren't as good. They gradually go down as people get used to being a Championship side. Last time we got relegated from the PL, in 2010-11 with an uninspiring, middling side, **** all investment and a financial crisis on the horizon our attendances were much better than this season with a great team, loads of money spent and favourites to go up. We all know why that is.
But the Tories were in in 2012 and they'd put a poor person tax on football tickets so the rich could go for almost free. Or they sold off half the country to give money to the banks and charged poor football fans the cost. Or something.
you should compare like with like - this is the first season out of the Prem - if we stay in the Championship next season there will be less than this season - fact - Allam lost 5000 fans compared to the same situation after we got relegated in 2010 - you do realise that don't you - surely you weren't comparing a third year in the Championship compared to the first - I don't believe you're that daft - are you?
Even the club have obviously realised their mistake otherwise they wouldn't be planning an overhaul of ticketing structures or whatever the wording was. Not that they'd ever admit it. Saving face and never being seen to have backed down of course remains top priority.
You've suddenly become more active recently. And snidey. Lots of little digs at the club again, especially the owners, and some really unsubtle inferences. Is there an election soon?
Im not comparing Mooney said it compares with the last time we were in the Championship, which was 2012/13 Again i dont have to compare like for like. You tried to twist what Mooney said. Which was as above. JM noted that although prices are up 36% on our last Championship season, gates are broadly similar, leading to increased revenue. 58% of current season ticket holders are full paying adults. Just to help you this is what was said. Do you now acknowledge you got it wrong?? Hope this helps.
