That's simply not true - until very recently I flew every week for many years both around Europe and also all over the world - I have yet to come across one airline that actively encourages people to wait before they book because they will reduce the price - on the other hand airlines are excellent at capturing those last minute business trips a full price - airlines want cash in the bank and the best way of doing that isctempt people to book early - I can't even begin to work out how much money my company lost by not booking early but waiting until the last minute - I accept if you're looking at a charter flight when a company may have hired the plane for whatever reason and can't fill theseats then last minute they may reduce prices to get any money in last minute but that's totally different to the normal scheduled airline booking system
For full flights the price goes up near the flight date. For less full flights the price goes down. You're all correct!

not making fans move stands again are they? will it be early next week when the official announcement is regarding membershipNot allowed to post details under the after the club's official announcement next week, but it's a very radical approach to pricing and club interaction with the fans, it should remove many of the current issues, but involves a fair amount of upheaval that will upset some fans. Overall it's very good, at least it should be if they've managed to overcome some of the issues we discussed at the FWG meeting (there were some aspects still not finalised and I've no idea if they've been resolved).

I was just reading this and I've not heard anything about some being excluded
"This is a good point at which to move on to fan consultation in its wider form. Currently, as I noted earlier, the FWG is the sole consultation mechanism for Hull City. It’s certainly better than nothing, but it’s flawed. The chair excludes people he doesn’t want there, it doesn’t meet regularly, and neither the chief executive nor the Supporter Liaison Officer (in UEFA guidance, the post that is supposed to be the first point of contact for fans) attends.
Anyone got any info??
I've attended all the meetings except the first and the most recent. I didn't know PLT had been excluded and to suggest he has been disruptive at other meetings is laughable. Some of the points he raised at meetings were very relevant and articulate. It probably refers to me. I wasn't invited to the last one and I know of another person who also stopped getting invites. When I queried it with James I was told I was disruptive at previous meetings, which anyone who knows me offline would laugh at. The other person who stopped getting invited particularly dislikes Allam and would sometimes calmly state that view at meetings.
I agree with Andy that the FWG is flawed, but mainly because the discussion is never allowed to go in a direction that the attendees want it to. James has an impossible job; he gives up a lot of time for the meetings and it's not his fault that he's not allowed to do much that the fans ask for, but he gets excessively upset when someone raises the obvious issues, which I believe is what he means by me being disruptive.

What about if you typed it all out onto a post to get it off your mind, but, suddenly, your finger slips and you click "post reply"?
That's not the same as posting details, right?

I quoted this off CI. It makes me wonder if theres something else OLm and others at the meeting cant say due to the NDA. I'm hoping anyway.Just read CI and theres a bit of a teaze on there from people in the know...
"Reading between the lines, the £2 charge has served it's purpose for what is about to be rolled out. All will become clear very soon.
Earn your stripes.
The ****'s gonna hit the fan on two key points for me, but you know what, overall, I think it's dynamic.
Very interested to see how this will be received."
