But the Tories were in in 2012 and they'd put a poor person tax on football tickets so the rich could go for almost free.

Or they sold off half the country to give money to the banks and charged poor football fans the cost.

Or something.

No politics. Thank you.<laugh>

You've suddenly become more active recently.

And snidey.

Lots of little digs at the club again, especially the owners, and some really unsubtle inferences.

Is there an election soon?

What he said is true though. Even if you don't like it.

It's cos I don't like them very much <ok>

Cant help our crowds playing all these night games especially fans travelling from out of town plus away fans mind you when you are charging cat A prices for a game when on sky tv its ridiculous.

Even the club have obviously realised their mistake otherwise they wouldn't be planning an overhaul of ticketing structures or whatever the wording was.

Not that they'd ever admit it. Saving face and never being seen to have backed down of course remains top priority.
I think it's fair to say the club are trying to rectify their mistakes.

+ Ticket prices are being adjusted.
+ Hull City is going to be used again in advertising, etc
+ We told them no to goal music - they immediately removed it.
+ We told them half time entertainment was crap - they changed it.
+ That £2 charge is being phased out (yeah, it shouldn't have been introduced in the first place).

They're not perfect and I'm not defending anything they did but they're trying again. "They're" is probably a selective term for select people within the club, mind.

Just going back to the minutes. Why did it take so long. There's nothing in there to be worried about. Its all vague stuff.

The KC stadium was never, ever, designed for just football. It's a Community stadium and always will be whilst the council own it and CITY dont. It's open all seated designed with little or no scope for movement of fans within its safety certificate and capacity ruling prevents whats asked for time and time again and the OB love this and take full advantage of that fact. Take that onboard and deal it lads because unless we get terraces back with no reserved seating, and an away section that has direct access to coaches via an underground fu kin tunnel, football, certainly as some of us remember it in Hull, is fu cked forever unless you sit down and do as your told, wear a foam hand and allow kids, many of whom would rather play candy crush than give the finger to the away end, another reason to attend.

Allam OUT

A tad off topic, but a while back, someone I know mentioned they wasn't sure when their trust membership would be up for renewal. I guess they could have had the request sent through since they asked, but is it something that just happens automatically?

I doubt they'd vote anyway, but they'll grumble if they miss the opportunity to not vote.

According to the OB the KC is not a sports stadium, it is an events stadium. I would have thought football,is an event but this distinction is something the police and a SAG use as excuse for their stupidity and unreasonableness in dealing with City games.

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^. THIS !

It's been the same for most of the FWG meetings. James asks that people run their minutes past him before publicising. This time an NDA was in place so even more reason to respect that than normal. You won't like me saying it but I think it's because of the people he works for. People get sacked for accidentally saying the wrong thing under Allam.

Was it fear, or was the NDA for commercial reasons?

It just seems to have taken longer than usual. As though there was something big been announced. But there wasnt.

OLM said sometime they'd need checking as ticketing arrangements were being discussed then someone said Mooney had been on his holibobs so probably took longer than usual to check them.

Mooney didn't call Allam a **** or anything like that, and rightly so.

The majority of Trust memberships expire on 31 March - the expiry date is shown on each membership card. Shareholders will be advised on f their renewal date and payment methods well in advance of expiry.

It was for commercial reasons to do with the ticketing arrangements. I think the people at the meeting were given some details about that which they can't share.

Mooney didn't call Allam a **** or anything like that, and rightly so.

I'm sure he didn't, but as we know, you don't have to say anything like that to get sacked by Allam. If he was to suggest he sympathised with the fans on a particular issue which was out of his control, it wouldn't be looked favourably upon by the autocratic regime. But given that he's the club representative at these meetings and the owners aren't there, what's he going to say? It's hard to argue the case for ridiculous things like continuing to call the club Hull Tigers and I'd be amazed if any Non-allam really thinks that's a good idea.

I'm not on the FWG now so I don't know what was discussed this time, but I'm pretty sure that if FWG members reported what was said without JM agreeing it first he wouldn't be best pleased.

Like 20's plenty?

You admit you don't know, yet once again invent a scenario to suit your preconceptions, that to a fair degree are built on other imaginings..

So, we know what you like/don't like as far as this goes. What realistic answers have you got to resolve your perceived version?
