1.stop stewards constantly rechecking your ticket when you leave the concourse to take your seat in the North Stand - don't the thick ****s realise that you cant get into the ground without a ticket and if you don't know where your seated you will ask

2 stop stewards blocking the tunnels to the concourse at half time - why they need one at each side when everyone is going to the bogs is beyond me - no wonder they get barged about and told to get out of the ****ing way

Lambo, can I make another suggestion?

Before you go, do a summary of valid points you feel you could raise, put it on here if you wish, but also print it off and take it and hand it to someone like James if he's there, or anyone else of suitable stature.

I've worked with Cortez over the last few years, and there can't be many people who do more for youth sport in the city IMO, so I think he probably knows what he's talking about

Can't they introduce the same system that HSBC are bringing in
    Voice recognition
Buy your ticket, record your voice, turn up, shout at the turnstile, walk in

That's one of those simple things that's been an issue for years. As long as the KC has been open this has been a complaint. I don't know why it's so difficult to resolve.

One thing I would quite like raising is away ticket allocation.

I've gone away quite a lot this season, and every time I buy a ticket I ask to be near the back as I know I want too be standing etc.
Even then, I've ended up on the front row at Leeds, in front of 2 rows of empty seats at Fulham and amongst people who wouldn't have stood up if you told them there was a bomb under their seat yesterday.

    This is a nightmare.

Was only discussing this with a friend yesterday how arguments are caused at away games because people who want to sit end up near the back and those who want to stand are lumbered at the front.

Couldn't they mark the back tickets as a "singing" section? The obviously can't say "standing" section but something to help encourage that split of people.

Almost every away game I've been to this season my ticket has been in the quietest and most sterile section of the City crowd. Most of it isn't old people or kids though. It's just people who don't seem to have that much interest in City. Yesterday everyone around me was tittering at the lyrics to our song as if they'd never heard them before.

I raised the issue of scouting on here a few years ago and another poster (can't remember their name) tried shooting me down saying the club did plenty on terms of scouting. The poster later admitted they worked for the club in the scouting network and it was only when other posters agreed with me that they backed down.

I'm not sure if this is the same with me being told the club do enough now too.

I agree the club are doing MORE but still probably not enough by any stretch. Hull City have put on more competitions this year from 7 year olds up to 11 year olds. A great start in my opinion. Get the children playing the sport in a tournament organised by Hull City; even the Liverpool/Man Utd supporting kids think it's a big deal. Plus plenty of scouting has gone on through these competitions. We've have three kids spotted over the last 4-5 months and they certainly weren't the only ones from any of the schools taking part.

When our half time entertainment consists of "here are the scores from elsewhere" and "player X has received an award", picking some kids from a school or a Saturday/Sunday team to come in and have a relay race around the pitch, a penalty shoot out against Roary or a cross bar challenge are all better alternatives - all for the sake of twenty free tickets in a corner of the stand which doesn't fill.

Nearly all of Hull's primary schools are connected to one another on Twitter now. As soon as one school goes (and tweets about it), the rest will hear about it. Then the following game, another and another and, before you know it, hundreds have kids have been to the game for the first time, maybe even been on the pitch and it's all over social media for schools, children, parents, other fans etc. to see. It advertises itself.

Other clubs are doing it. Our rugby teams are doing it. Why aren't we?

The easiest way to solve this problem is to have unreserved seating tickets, those who want to sit would go to the front (as they do on the rare occasions when we get this type of ticket), those who want to stand would be at the back. Don't hold your breath though, the 'BIG' clubs don't want that kind of supporter, they want the tourist who's gonna come, buy a ****load of tat from the club-shop then sit down with his club brand coffee, pie and programme, take a few selfies and clap excitedly when the overpaid ****s on display do something 'magical'.

I'm probably gonna get some flak for this but (**** 'em anyway) I think that the 'nice day out' types are mostly our Southern based Tigers (but not those from Portsmouth :emoticon-0148-yes:) - I can't think of three worst away matches than Southampton away, when we got mullered, Brighton away, in the FA cup, and last seasons visit to the Emirates. All three games were cringingly quiet, the Southampton match had the largest section of anti-fans* of all time, the Arsenal game had City fans** asking stewards to throw their own supporters out! All three games had hundreds of faces that I'd never seen before, and hopefully, won't ever see again.

*anti-fans - a group who were actually close to fighting with City fans who were stood singing and making a noise.

**City fans - no they're not, not in any shape or form.

We're going off topic here into the ills of modern football.
Let's be positive about things we want and that the club can do

I agree with most of that but Bury was unreserved and there was widespread sitting on hands there as well. Our fanbase has gone ****.

Difference at Bury though PLT, and the point I tried to make was, those who wanted to sit were all between the stand entrance and the halfway line, from the halfway line to the end of the stand everyone was stood, and unlike at fixed seating stadia, we were all stood and not upsetting anyone.

If you read my post, I did not say that the club does enough, I said the club is always willing to work with schools as is the Tigers Trust.

    Tigers Trust
We arrange many events through the year e.g. children's coaching courses, education programmes and fundraising challenges. Our Junior Programme provides children aged 4 to 12 with a number of exciting opportunities to keep them active, have fun, meet new friends and develop essential skills. By working with many of the region's primary schools we aim to increase confidence and motivate more children to take up sporting opportunities beyond school.
