Because you said laws are brought in to "Control people" I assumed you thought they were a bad thing?
Clearly that's not the case and you agree we do need laws. I'm glad we agree.

Technically he's wrong, the GB were not the "first" as the OBAF laws are fairly new, whereas the Offensive Communications Act came into force in 2003. So people have been getting done for offensive communications far longer than the GB have been getting done for being fannies.

We agree that laws are brought in to control people, yes. Laws can either be bad or good but control is their purpose
There should be a law enforcing the use of full stops at the end of sentences.
