Write where shall we start,

Lansdown quote, i want to employ a experienced manager/coach and we will take our time finding him-a rookie is being employed it seems.

Ashton,You will be amazed by the names and high quality showing interest in the position.-Lee Johnson give me a break.

I was told from the inside circle, pearson was the man they would like,i have no doubt that was correct, but this guy is not going to be a puppet for the non football people running the asylum.
Either he did not like what he was told,or the club could not afford him.
inside information, my brother told me,ashton said, your just sprouting the same old bollocks
I would imagine that is pretty much the same with the other high calibre managers.

why has it taken so long to appoint a new manager,i personally think they stated at a,b,c and are now at r,s,t in the pecking order.

Having met you and knowing your years long commitment to Bristol City makes me weep even more. How much longer will they believe we are OK with the running of our club and for me the time is running out on my following.

Or maybe LJ might turn out to be a roaring success here!
That's the thing about the future none of us know what's going to happen. Reading some of views over this you would thing the world is caving in.

Hopefully history repeats and Red Robin creates a **** load of threads and looks silly like when Cotterill joined.

Mike then writes a essay about the ship now settled and forgets that he's off his head with some of his threads and comments.

If he does we'll all be delighted.

But don't blame people for being underwhelmed and more than a little disappointed if LJ gets the job after all of the propaganda that's been spouted by the club ever since they sacked SC about the quality of the applicants and Lansdown himself taking 'personal charge'.

Because if that's what happens (and personally I reckon it will), then it will prove beyond all reasonable doubt that they are again talking complete and utter **** just to big themselves up, when in reality they are making themselves and the club a total look a laughing stock.

So when it happens...

Welcome Lee....

Some friendly advice.

Where possible, ignore the club owner in particular, and Mark Ashton.

Firstly they don't seem to know what day it is or what stories they are supposed to be telling the press or each other, and ffs whatever you do, don't believe a word they say, or expect any promises they might make you to come true.

Don't be a bully like your old man supposedly was but don't be too matey with the players either.

Ignore the boo boys, prove the knockers wrong, and keep us up.

Please.

It was reported on the barnsley fans forum that he was finishing after last nights match.
Therefore it was a done deal even before the official approach/announcement?

Perhaps this board is trying to get him on board to play alongside Pack such is its
stupidity.
