They look like a nice couple of lads!!! I went to Spurs away a couple of years ago and one of the Saints fans was at it the whole way through. It was disgraceful and annoying. The trouble was, he was drunk and looked a bit 'out there' if you know what I mean and although we offered a few loudish 'tuts' no one had the bottle to confront him. It was a shame really as I think everyone would have rallied round but who knows, we were all just a bit too cowardly to risk it. I guess we are defined as much by what we don't do as by what we do (I was going to say "do do") so good on whoever brought this to the club's attention.
That's a tricky one, especially when you know the other person is under the influence. You can imagine that if you say something, the person goes for you, there is a scuffle or some light grappling as you defend yourself (you can hardly move out the way in a football stadium seat) and then you get thrown out by a steward and banned for life for fighting at a game.
I don't normally need an incentive to switch the tv off when Bargain Hunt comes on, but there's a Lord Twatbeard lookalike on there today.

http://www.independent.ie/sport/soc...ght-move-for-shane-longs-career-34373079.html An Irish survey into whether a move to Liverpool would be better for Long's career...just edging the 'no' vote....but you could change that to a definite no (wink, wink...if you know what I mean). Long will always be picked for ROI, so doesn't need the exposure at a more famous club (refuse to say bigger....even if you pull my fingernails out ), so the risk for him is reduced match time (article agrees with that).
The best part about this rumour is that it shows just where Liverpool are in the football heirachy these days. They are not battling it out with Chelsea and City for Messi, Bale or the next too European starlet, they are trying to nudge a bit of a journeyman player from a mid table Premier League side
