Slightly off topic. When I woke up this morning I wondered whether I am the only poster on here never to have a wet shave. Electric every day of my life. Thank you.
only a plastic would admit that.. not never but mostly electric due to sensitive skin brought me out in awful rashes when I was an ado..
Yeah, it's always looked quicker to me, CBA to try a wet shave. And it looks dangerous, I'm sure if I tried it I'd end up in A and E.
Usually electric during the week. Although my current electric razor is an awkward shape to hold. And it takes me ages to shave with it. On the palm of my hand is a blister. And I need more time.
I throw acid on my face and burn it off. Don't have to do it often. Time saver. Not sure on the burns though. Or the lack of skin. Or face.
Beard trimmer and the old straight razor, I find electric razors give me bad skin and don't shave close enough
Always wet shave. I use two different razors, a safety razor and a multi blade. Only used an electric once or twice and did not like it. For a quick shave I use shaving gel and the multi blade. If I want a close shave, I will have one shave using the safety razor and shaving oil, have a shower and then have another shave using the multi blade and gel.
You'll never beat the old 'wet' shave of course but circumstance can cause you to revert to electric. In my case I was put on a tablet called Warfarin (thins your blood out and help against suffering a stroke) and I was told to give the razor's with blades away. I still have a wet shave though if we are going out somewhere special but have to take it steady otherwise if I cut myself it bleeds for yonks.
Wet shave Mach 3. I should remind all Mach 5 is not an upgrade. You'd be better off using a dessert spoon than a Mach 5.
Wet shave for me for the last 45 years.I had a brief experiment with an electric but it didn't cut close enough for my standards.
