All three could be water-carriers for Can.

 

It was interesting to see.

Is there a confidence thing that having 3 guys with allen being the busy one forward of the other 2 that allows the others to make those fast pressing moves?

Did allen just do really well first half and drag the others up?

Did Firmino just play so much better at 9?

Did stoke give us too much space?

Did stone run out of talent and we cut off the good balls to that front line and the rest couldn't cope?... our lot have had that done to them a lot.

 

Can was doing some very silly things late on. Deffo needs to mature.

 

They're good on the counter, and if you give them space that front 4 can hurt you. But they got the benefit of a spawny mis hit cross that was deemed a worldie lol, and a penalty that never was at Goodison.

They've struggled to score goals all season that's their Achilles heel. They won't beat you at Anfield unless they go industrial old skool Stoke imo.

 

We were good before he came on so lucas and can were there with allen and we bossed them.

We should build the midfield around him. The lad is only 21.

I think it'll be interesting as Rodgers tried 433 and failed for lack of goals. Tonight we got one and might've have missed it for all our good work.

He tired and was trying to lallana himself out of cul-de-sacs towards the end, but I remember a young Gerrard at his age often doing the same thing. He is class, and he is the real deal. the germans rarely make mistakes, and there's a reason why he was captain of a talented U21 team. Our future captain.

 

He is talented, but injured so often.

I think Klopp will play 4231 once he has a) the players he wants and b) any players who can play the formation.
