West ham just confirmed the signing of Taylor,a proven premiership player who has not been let go by his club for not cutting the mustard,HA
West Ham new boy Matt Taylor has set his sights on winning promotion back to the Premier League after sealing his move to Upton Park.
As revealed by skysports.com earlier on Saturday, Taylor has signed a four-year deal at West Ham after Bolton accepted an offer for the versatile performer.
The 29-year-old, who is Sam Allardyce's third signing of the summer, is delighted to be joining West Ham and is determined to do his best in helping the club regain their Premier League status following relegation last term.
Great opportunity
"This is a great opportunity to come and play for a fantastic football club," Taylor told the club's official website. "This is a big club with a lot of heritage. It is a new challenge for me and obviously I want to be part of something special and, from the outset, it looks like I will find that here.
"As I said, ultimately it is a huge football club and I want to play my part if I can. There were never any second thoughts about coming here.
"It is a big challenge for me which I am looking forward to, to be part of helping the team get back up to the Premier League and do that as soon as possible.
"I see this as a very positive move for me. I don't expect to be playing Championship football for more than one season if I am being totally honest.
"I just want to get stuck in and start playing. I think it is going to be a great season."

You are boring Emilio, and your little side kick Lesta! are you a couple ?
So lets get something straight, all the big boys came in for this Mills player and he said nope,I would rather
miss out on playing in the top division and double my wages,Leicester is the place for me...
Dont believe everything a players agent feeds the the press Emilio.
I have just got back from living in Asia for the last 2 years, every bar and restaurant you go into has the Premiership
listings or playing as you walk in..After the Prem' it was the Spanish league then the German league and then the Italian league.
There might have been a highlight show on once a week based on the Npower league, but thats about it.
Any guesses to why this is ?
Danns chose you over Rangers ? your squads and level of football are hardly miles apart
You guys are really scraping the barrel now, bigging up your friendly fixtures HA HA HA
What a bullshit stat,so football fans all over the world are clammering to watch the likes of Leicester city
take on Doncaster ?
I think you will find that the Championship is added to the Premiership package as a bit of a bonus.. You pay
us the millions for the Prem' and we will give you the second tier league coverage for free or a nominal fee.,
The MLS is sometimes shown over here,if im really bored I will watch it for twenty minutes, does this give the MLS
league more standing in the world of football because a channel needs to attract advertisers for as little money as possible ?
HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA
Do you do kids parties as well ?
Im over it proud fox,I would love to name players I woudnt like from your club but im afraid I have never heard of them.
You guys are in for more disappointment this year,oh well, you will be use to it by now

As always Emilio you always have good input, are all you guys typing from the same care home ?
Wow, this has all got very childish. I'd have to say though that Koby's overall sense of West Ham's size and importance as a club is both vastly over-exaggerated and surprisingly misplaced. As fans we all have inflated opinions of our own club, but you speak about the WH as if you're somehow a big club. We've come to expect this rubbish from the likes of Man U and Arsenal fans over the years, but at least they genuinely have something to shout about - West Ham are an average sized club with an average sized fanbase, a thoroughly average history and now a pretty average squad. In fact, other than being slightly famous for the hooligan element within your fanbase (it's not all of you by any stretch of the imagination I appreciate) and providing several of the great England team of 66 you're a lot like ourselves and many other medium sized clubs in England.
There are many clubs in this division who have equally proud histories and traditions as yourselves, so if West Ham fans think they're somehow going to be the "famous" West Ham or the big fish in this little pond then you need to think again. As much as it pains me to say it, Leeds are by far the biggest and most famous club in the Championship right now, but size hardly matters when we're all stuck in the same league together does it? There are at least a dozen clubs in this league whose fans believe that they 'belong' in the PL, but the only thing that really matters is what goes on on the pitch. And if you really think that the likes of Matty Taylor are going to take this league by storm then you might be in for a bit of a shock because the standard will be a lot, lot higher than you're expecting.
West Ham are some of the biggest cheats around aswell. They get a load of dodgey owners like that Icelandic bank and that Egghead. They had to break the rules to stay up by signing Carlos Tevez and Javier Mascherano. They club is massively in debt and then they get a freebie stadium. The only reason West Ham think they are a big clubs is because half of Eastenders support them
