No, you can stop being a simpleton and buy a gaming PC!!
All the games look 100x better and are much cheaper.
:p
A good gaming PC will set you back £800-£900 though.
I paid £1,200 for mine :D

PC all the way, though footy and fighting games, console, anything else, PC. My graphics cards alone cost as much as a PS4, that extra dont come cheap.

Consoles are so much more stable though and so much less hassle

Is the problem the phone? or you bringing your phone kayaking? <whistle>

Phone has GPS on it that is very handy when navigating unfamiliar waters. Phone also has camera on it and a clock. I can also check weather- being on water during lightening is a no-no. A phone is also a good safety device if I were to get into trouble.

Yes I could buy a waterproof GPS. A waterproof watch. A waterproof camera. A waterproof weather radio. (several of those things are on my Xmas list to father Xmas)... It would be a lot more convenient though if my next phone was waterproof. Phone is also a backup flashlight if I'm camping on a riverbed.

Lots of reasons to take a phone with me.

I don't talk on phone when kayaking. However the wife could contact me in an emergency... And I could signal if I needed help... If I were close to civilization at the time at least.

You could try going to the pub instead

I've always had a gmaing pc before... i was nintendo so ps wasn't for me so i stayed PC. so witcher is on pc basically...

I'm pretty good and keep it all brushed up and tidy, I'm not having huge problems but I'm just worried that my new tablet will get the same way.

first thing is version of android. I have found my phone battery tanked last month and i found a very handy bit of advice. to stop stuff slowing down you go into the app manager and into also settings for notifications and turn that stuff off. sopt apps updating and push notifying as i found it has the antenna on constantly and using up battery.

since i did that on all non interesting apps and games the battery life is great and the phone runs ace.

I would also on your tablet turn off location and that stops a lot of apps using up memory and power giving info back to your overlords.. sorry app software developers.

with 3d modeling you'd need a good card alright. I used to use 3d studio for halflife models back in the days of pentium 2 being a "good processor" and a 128mb ddr2 graphics card was the **** <laugh>

The most ram you'd use in games and windows wouldn't be more than 8 in most cases. Even that is a lot.

Are your video drivers bog tandard or specific for the 3d application. If the former, you should not have any probs

Samsung Galaxy 5 with a free Samsung Tab 4...? Don't mind if I do thank you muchly

Was hoping to get into town later today to get it sorted but its not looking very likely. The mrs (nm) went out last night and stumbled in about 2am pissed as a fart. she couldn't even stand up <laugh> Suspect she's going to be on the sofa all day, glad I'm at work (<laugh> ) atm

Steam winter sale is running.

Their sales the last year or so have been pretty puny compared to what they once were.

Was just about to post that, excellent sale, got all 3 bioshock games for a tenner. Got elite dangerous for €13, good games going for literally nothing, over 10000 of them. Picked up a few titles, GTAV is only €33.

Got sent a few gifts through steam too. Merry Crimbo :D

@moreinjuredthanowen You know what my problem is, I was expecting a gritty more true modernisation of the movies.

What I got was Disney crap, a kids movie, I did not know till after I seen it that it was actually a disney movie posing as a Lucas Movie

Elite Dangerous has an expansion pack, landing on planets and going about in wheeled vehicles.
I want! <laugh>

Yeah. I sent a few games too. Received Satellite Rain. Purchased Cities: Skyline, and after dark for myself (from other sites not steam but got steam key).

Amazon and Greenmangames both had better sales than steam this year.
