Neil Warnock (far left) and Blackwell guided QPR to victory over Leeds on Saturday

QPR senior players are keen for interim boss Neil Warnock and his assistant Kevin Blackwell to be considered for permanent posts, according to Sky sources.

QPR are hoping to appoint a permanent successor to Chris Ramsay shortly and we understand the process is nearing a conclusion, with
Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink the latest name in the frame, despite the Burton boss insisting there was yet to be an approach from Loftus Road.

Rangers travel to Reading on Thursday night live on Sky Sports and Warnock is believed to be "very likely" to take charge of the team for the trip to the Madejski Stadium with the international break seen as an ideal opportunity for Rangers to make an appointment.

"Powell was sacked by Huddersfield Town earlier in the season after a poor start to their campaign"
He sounds good, let's give him the job.

The fans need to start letting them know we want Warnock as well, isn't anyone starting a Twitter or Facebook campaign? We need to have our voices heard before they appoint another turkey...

I see like Louis van Gaal, Kevin Blackwell likes to take notes:-

That website is so brilliant it gets its news from the Daily Star and enables you to translate it into Arabic, Japanese, Hindi (or possibly Urdu), Thai or a European language at will. You are sowing the seeds of panic unnecessarily, young Beth. Be calm, stay Zen, what will be will be.

It's taking a long time for the heady atmosphere of the Curva Sud Blu tier to wear off.

Got such a horrible feeling about this.

Think we're all going to be thoroughly disappointed.

Wouldn't be the first time would it?

They only positive thing is that they haven't rushed into making a stupid appointment, they're taking their time (fill in the rest as appropriate).......

Totally agree soop, there must be a way our fans can have some or voice our views, if Powell is chosen there would be uproar on here, keep nw till end of season.
