Reports circulating that the Premier League are planning to reduce the number of teams from 20 to 18? Thats gonna put even more money on the table for every team, whilst making it just that little more difficult for clubs like ours to stay there should we ever return
It's bollocks. Greg Dyke said he'd like to see the Premier League reduced to 18 teams at the end of last week, but the Premier League told him to **** off.
Sky Sports online (albeit via Sunday Express) reporting it the other way round; Premier League want it and Dyke doesn't? Could be lost in interpretation I guess if other way round as you suggest
Just google 'Premier League 20 to 18', every story is about Dyke wanting 18 and the Premier League saying it's not going to happen.
Dyke is such a prick. I thought he was alright at first but now he's just obsessed with making random changes like he's desperate to be remembered for something. I can't stand these types of people.
No chance in hell anytime soon that the PL will reduce in numbers. It is just another silly rumour doing the rounds. +++++++++++++++ ASTON VILLA 0 ARSENAL 1 Giroud pen. latest score. No team with 6 pts at this stage of the season has stayed up. Villa look doomed unless a miracle of biblical proportions happens. O?T.. Sam Ricketts just been sent off for Coventry @ Sheffield Utd. 2nd yellow card.
Yer Villa look gone , mentally there down Championship will be a right battle next season for us now Villa down. Villa , Brum , Coventry , Wolves all in the Championship next season
Villa look bloody terrible, what a ****ty game for a Sunday afternoon, hope the Spurs match better. Taping Valencia v Eibar, think Neville will probably get a win up in his first game but I honestly admit I know nothing about Eibar
Spurs Newcastle on, Spurs looked pretty good to start with, their defenders play some great balls out from the back but it's petering out a bit now at 0-0, disappointing day of football. Hope the Valencia game is better when I watch the recording.
Googled Eibar as this match is boring me ( why I'm on here ) their stadium has a 6000 capacity so they are doing well to be in the Spanish top flight, second season in La Liga and they are based in the Basque region
Newcastle keeper just made a good save, and followed it up with another decent one from Lamela, some decent action at last
