Can't see their manager staying as they are going down with him as it stands, they will change it very soon I reckon
Newcastle aren't in this game at all. If McClaren doesn't make a change (ie De Jong off and some midfield help on), then he's just a brollyless wally. Spurs look like a good team these days. Not a great one, but a good one - probably good enough for top 4 thanks to Chelsea.
In Aston Villa case we can do now. They are stinking the PL out. Derby and Sunderland once had the same number of points and they both sunk without much trace. IMHO, it is now a case who joins the Villa in next seasons championship. Hopefully it will be Norwich and Swansea. Both tedious trips to those places.
But for wins @ Bournemouth and last week @ home to Liverpool, Newcastle would also be in the doo doo more than they are now.
Tottenham at it again. Chucking away games they should have sown up already. 1-1 due to shambolic defending. Lucky Wally.
For a start Leicester had more than 6 pints at this stage. They also had a team of fighters. If you think Villa will get out of this you really do know nothing.
You didn't think they had any fight at all last season, you were banging on about them being 'relegated already' from December onwards.
Spurs' pace really dropped alarmingly after half-time. An unfortunate consequence of the Pochettino style of game?
Criminal that from Lloris at the end, letting one in at his near post when he had it covered. Spurs a bit overconfident today and it cost them , they look like a decent young team in the making though.
Mad season isn't it, Watford 2-0 up v Liverpool, wasn't going to bother with it but am watching now to see if Klopp blows another fuse!
