What a player Vardy is. I can't understand why there's so few strikers in English football who just run in behind like him. He's such a good finisher as well.
Good to see Bo playing regularly now.

Because there are no English strikers with any good pace other than him.
Before you say it, Walcott is not a striker...
I like my post on page 2.
Sad truth is, if Huddlestone, Livermore, Curtis Davies, et al, showed the same level of application as Vardy they would be playing for bigger teams than us and earning a lot more money.I like my post on page 2.
"Vardy should be nowhere near an England squad, that he is is a damning indictment of the state of our game.
Well done to him, a testament of effort over ability. If Huddlestone, Livermore, Curtis Davies had half his application we wouldnt be in the ****"
Spot on I would say.
Even if he gets in the England team we won't play to his strengths.
Roy's to intent on trying to copy Spain & Germany's blueprint, even though it's blatantly obvious we can't do it, and never have been able to do it.
Vardy works on decent service from wide areas, directness & counter attacking at speed. Leicester have been class at that this season.
Leicester appear to have scored 5 penalties this season, 3 by Vardy and 2 by Mahrez. Vardy seems to take them when he is the one who is fouled and Mahrez if it's someone else who is fouled (Mahrez/Drinkwater).
I hope all 5 pens were legit as Vardy did seem to go down easily in the Championship the year they went up (and were awarded 16 penalties).
They do say true pace is what scares defenders more than anything else. You have to have something about you to score in 10 consecutive premier league games.

Really, he needs to be played in the middle with players like Walcott, Lallana and Chamberlain out wide.
Problem is, Woy will be afraid to have him leading the line and will just shove him out wide like he has been in the couple of England appearances he has had.
My ideal XI (with a fully fit team):
Hart
Clyne Stones Jagielka Shaw
Milner Wilshere
Chamberlain Barkley Walcott
Vardy

I quite like that team.
It's a shame Woy will never play it though![]()

It's good, but I'd still have Rooney in behind Vardy instead of Milner/Wilshire! Wilshire will be gone soon anyway, his injuries are too much & by the time he hits mid 20's he'll be a has been if he's still playing! IMO!
Yeah, I'm sick to death of talented players ruining my teams. The bastardsWhen he's fit, Wilshere (with an E, not an I) is arguably our most gifted player alongside Barkley.
Big no no on Rooney. He seems to have an affect on England the same way Huddlestone does on us. He might have good ability, but putting him in the team seems to make the team play differently.
Spurs are currently giving West Ham a good going over, 3-0 five minutes into the second half.
I really dislike Noble.
