To be fair, he looked as nervous as **** being interviewed by Lineker, but it was funny when GL smiled & rolled his eyes after suggesting to Vardy that it'd been a long time since a Leicester player had won a "golden boot" award - went right over his head.
Only thing I disagree with is Smalling, he has been brilliant this season, probably walk into the team of the year. I feel it is a bit harsh on Rooney whose form for England is excellent. I also don't get playing Walcott on the left somewhere he has never played.
Fully fit id have: Hart Clyne stones smalling Shaw Oxlade Barkley Alli lallana Vardy Kane It's 442 there but i don't think the system is too important, I'd just have those players with Vardy through the middle.
A number of Vardy - esk players in lower league / non-league football. They just need scouting and given a chance. I have seen a few Conference players this season (ok via the tv that is) who look good enough if given a chance. One of them plays for Grimsby now who was @ Solihill Moors last season. Any team that plays a high line against Vardy is asking for problems though. Vardy has done well.
In fairness, you’re probably right: nerves can make anyone talk drivel. Suppose my viewpoint of him is still tainted by the ‘jog on Jap’ thing.
Now people can see why Scott Dann does not make the England team. Sunlan gifted the win. wtf was Dann doing ffs.
