https://www.clubcall.com/southampton/clasie-bulks-up---but-not-on-english-meat-1788597.html Clasie can't get used to English meat and gets his family to bring some over from Holland. Also amazed at how fit some of our young Academy players are even at 13-14 years old. He's apparently trying to bulk up, bless him.

Yes, that got me interested in how different the meat might be in Holland. I've been to Holland several times but I'm blowed if I can remember anything significantly different in their meat diet that Clasie might identify with. The only thing I can think of is that they might eat more lamb than we do. But really I don't know. please log in to view this image
Think you've hit on the head why I hadn't really noticed, LTL. We've only really clicked in about one and a half games.
If you were to ask me the differences in meats between say those in France or Italy and here, I could probably come up with some decent differences, but Holland.? Nope, I'm scratching my head on that one.
Just Googled Dutch meat in the UK and got a load of stories about horsemeat! (I was looking to see if he could buy it over here)
I've eaten horse in France. I did it during a time when I was on a try-anything-edible-once kick. To be honest, it's rather nice. It was an old animal, I was assured, and the meat was slow cooked. Traditionally you can buy it here from the odd Yorkshire butcher. Look it up why Yorkshire, because I've forgotten.
Just read a rumour that Sadio has picked up an injury on international duty...........if true hopefully not too serious
He's a doubt for their match against Madagascar after picking up an ankle injury. I shouldn't think it'll be a problem for facing Stoke City if he's only a doubt for international duty.
