Sounds like the same sort of press that said he was deeply unhappy all summer and was definitely leaving as he was 'insulted by their wage offer/refusal to make him the highest paid player by x amount" until he signed a contract. It's possible he was deeply unhappy and signed a long term contract in spite of this, but equally it's possible that it's all a load of bull...
Romelu Lukaku has said he would like to play under Arsene at some point in his career. At 22 he is arguably better than Giroud already. Think he could be a big success with the right development.
Apparently we have agreed to sign 24 year old Ukrainian forward Andriy Yarmolenko. Looks a decent talent hard to say how good he actually is.
Nothing will happen this winter transfer but a dream summer transfer season would be, Maureen and Wenger leaving, Klopp signing for Arsenal and we grab a few Chelsea players in the procedure. Perfect.
I was thinking of Matic but I'd love Hazard. Just imagine Sanchez and Hazard being on either flank. ..one player I would struggle to want is Costa. He would make us better but he's one asshole...
Interesting article on your scouting frustrations - posted by YV on our board http://www.thesecretfootballer.com/...heung-min-tim-sherwood-phil-jagielka/#slide-2
AW being indecisive over transfers is not a shock as we have being saying it for years. We all know what squad needs but it seems his stubbornness is all prevailing, and now that Theo is injured we are back to only one striker Giroud which is not enough
It's looking like missing out on Benzema may well have been a good thing for you lot. His next move might well be into the nearest prison.
Interesting reading the gossip columns on the BBC website and a certain Lionel Messi who apparently would like to play for Arsenal. Problem are his wage demands. I see no problem at all. Your worldwide support would increase massively (3 fold) as would the corresponding sales of shirts. It would also result in the big international corporations bidding for advertising at the Emirates and all things to do with Arsenal. IMO the move is pie in the sky, but if it did happen ......
It'll never happen, it's a ridiculous bit of gossip in the same way as when it surfaced last season about 'Arsenal being the only club he would leave Barca for' and that apparently he was unhappy at Barca. All rubbish, press must be bored...
Grzegorz Krychowiak would be perfect for us and probably still a reasonable price. On the downside he recently said he didn't want to come to England because he 'doesn't like the cold weather'.(despite being Polish)
Would he be reasonable though? Seville are doing well and he has just been nominated for the UEFA team of the year, and we would be wanting Seville to be sell an important player in the middle of the season. Be awesome if we could get him though
Well maybe £15-20m I would guess at. He's not the big name yet. But for me it's only a matter of time before he ends up at a TOP club.
