Another rumour is that Man Utd want an instant recall on him. Derby can have him if that is true. Instant recall ffs.
Prepare to be amazed then. They have lost by far there best player in Will Hughes to a long term injury.
Reading some of the posts on here knocking Derby as if we're world-beaters is quite special. I'd say we have the best two centre backs in the league in Dawson and Davies but aside from that, our squad is hardly as good as some of you make out. We probably have one of the poorest goalkeepers in the league, two young, talented but slightly naive full backs (I still think Moses should play on the wing), a decent midfield though hardly brilliant; Elmo and Diame are the standout players for me but Derby have one of the most talented and balanced midfields, as do QPR. Our strikers are alright but not the best in this division. QPR, Derby, Burnley and Brighton should be challenging for promotion alongside us and it won't be easy.
Utter tosh and drivel this^ We've the best squad in the league by a country mile and with Chester well rid of we will have the league sewn up by Christmas.
Well when I was watching the US vs Brazil game they said that Jordan Morris has been told that he has to go pro and leave Standford soon or he will not be considered for the 2018 World Cup. We could sign him, then loan him out to an MLS club. If he comes good we have a really good player, if not we still make a profit by selling him to a club in the US. One of the reasons he has been refusing pro contracts is because he wants to sign for a European club apparently. Edit: well a european club and he wants to finish his degree
They can only have an instant recall, which every club has, after 28 days. That's the whole point of the emergency loan system isn't it?
How good does Will Hughes look now as a result? Without him they're definitely lacking something - not an easy player to replace.
Just out of interest, does anyone know if Will Hughes is a certified albino? He's got to be borderline at the very least.
If he's **** we can still sell him to MLS. That's a low opinion you have there of US association football.
Haha, it's probably league 1 standard. he is on the USMNT even though he isn't a pro player, someone in the MLS would take him even if he wasn't good enough for us. I'm just a fan of signing young players, substitute any young promising player in for his name.
He's a player I've liked the look of for the last three seasons - couldn't believe nobody came in for him.'
I think Liverpool have the first right to him which they included in the deal to loan Derby Wisdom last season.
