Wiki: In Kermorgant's first full season (2014-15) at Dean Court he helped them claim the Championship title winning promotion to the Premier League for the first time in the club's history.[33] Kermorgant scored 17 goals in all competitions and was nominated for the Championship goal of the season award for a bicycle kick in the 2–2 draw against Ipswich Town. Good enough for TigerRoo? Nah, of course not.
No he definitely said his family are settled in London, however that wouldn't stop him signing for a club up north.......we are talking about Nolan aren't we?
They're going to end up like QPR at this rate, bringing in strikers until one of them gets a goal. He'd be a good signing for them, but it'd piss off the strikers they already have.
Looking at it now, they have; Chris Martin, Darren Bent, Johnny Russell, Andi Weimann and, if true, James Wilson.
Their squad is daft though, they've yet to win a league game and haven't looked anything like doing so, they're totally disorganised and their tactic of just chucking money at it hasn't worked. I know it's early days and there's time for them to pull it round, but if they continue like this, we can put some distance between ourselves and them and forget about them.
Paul Clement reeks of a boss in his first proper job, stockpiling good players seemingly without any proper game plan. I'd expect them to challenge, they're too strong not to, but I don't think they'll make the automatics.
Do they have a better squad than us though? Midfield they aren't even close, nor are they at the back.
Our squad is very well balanced compared to them I agree, though we do have a Huddlestone who might tip the scales the wrong way a bit... I like how we have a lot of options at the back as you can guarantee Dawson will be injured a lot, Bruce and Maguire can step in very easily and the midfield with Diame leading it looks excellent now
I think Brucey probably believes with Diomande signing giving us what 'he' would consider to be 4 options up front (Hernandez, Aluko, Akpom, Diomande) , Wilson is not needed. Also with Jake coming back I suspect that may put off any potential interest in Nolan and perhaps Palacios.
Last season we had a few chances to put some distance between us and Leicester and forget about them. It's not the Hull City way.
As well as the obvious james wilson theres another promising striker from united under 21's who i posted a profile of pre season ashley fletcher http://www.manchestereveningnews.co...ports/rochdale-2-3-manchester-united-10024646
I'd disagree that their midfield isn't even close. With Bryson, Hendrick, Johnson, Butterfield, Hughes and Ince, I'd say their midfield looked strong. Our centre-backs are probably the best in the league, but both our full-backs are shakey defensively.
Every time I read or hear Clement speaking he seems to squeeze in something along the lines of ‘Ancellotti’s only a phone call away’. Seems a bit shallow, sad and frankly desperate. Personally, I fear Burnley and QPR far more than Derby.
