Exactly, Rather have Fletcher than Gray.

 

Fletcher is made of glass and Odemwingie is a mercenary. Gray is a Promising young player Similar to Wilson, Ings, Austin etc

 

If this season is a one off and we're going for automatic promotion, then a mercenary is exactly what we need.

 

Odemwingie would score a lot of goals at our level though

 

Like the rest of us. However, one does not play in the premier league and the other does.

 

How do you work that out?

 

He's a player that will score goals this year which is exactly what we need

 

So would a young player like Gray.

 

Well a mercenary is somebody you get in to do a job, who's also done a job for other people moving from club to club. It doesn't really describe Odemwingie, he's been at his other clubs (Cardiff aside) for decent spells.

We need to get back to the PL, that's the bottom line. So we should be signing players who have the ability to put us there. Odemwingie is a goalscorer, we only need him for a year and then we can sack him off. So if he bangs in 20 goals and gets us up, it doesn't matter if we get rid as he's done the job he was brought into do.

 

All seems to be coming down to the wire:

Stay away from Fletcher - his day is done, don't do the deal!
Odemwingie is not a bad shout, decent goal-scoring record, but concerns about his time out and how it has affected his game - but worth a punt.
Ulloa is the one that really speaks for itself. He would be lethal in this league, he would relish the type of players we have and he is a 20+ larker against Championship defences, but we appear to be rank outsiders.
