i agree i think we are hoping to bring in a decent forward but will wait until the premiership clubs have got who they want and we will wait for the loan market.
 
On 31 August 2015, it was announced Hernández signed a three-year contract with Bayer Leverkusen, for an undisclosed fee reported as £7.3 million.

We signed the wrong Hernández by mistake, just like A C Milan signed Luther Blisset because they thought they were getting John Barnes.

A lot of clubs in this division are investing plenty of money to strengthen. Considering SB targeted a striker and keeper as requirements (before Jelavic left) our chances of being front-runners this season must be reduced if we come up empty handed.

I would be happy with Ulloa, thought he looked good for Brighton and would of been happy with us signing him then. The type of forward we need, puts himself around, holds up play well, chsses down and even scores a few.

add an energetic, box to box midfielder and a keeper and we will be looking good.
 
I would imagine Ulloa would not be up for a division drop. Its not that far from when he was an auto pick for everyone's fantasy football teams due to his goals scored

The problem with the loan window is recalls and the short amount of time they're here for. Ideally we want somebody in today to avoid that happening. It wouldn't be the end of the world if we had to wait because of the international break, but it'd be nice to get it sorted today and use the loan window to cover injuries.

I'd love to see Ulloa here - I can't see us getting anyone better. We're kidding ourselves if we think we can......

The wording of this makes it sound like a permanent deal rather then a loan (why need "advanced talks" with a player for a loan deal).
