    Reality is we should just tell them to **** off. Why do we keep advertising our players for sale and giving a price?

    Do the Allams not want to get back to the PL? We have now surely raised enough and cleared enough from the pay roll.

    I am getting a nasty whiff that we'll end up with Fletcher from Sunderland. A player we get linked with every window - they have also brought in Borini.

    ... but this one is not quite of Anthony Martial proportions.

    United have made a £100,000 offer for Newport County’s Wales youth defender Regan Poole in a deal that could rise to £400,000.

    The Wales under-17 international is travelling to United's Carrington training ground this lunchtime for a medical with the Premier League giants.

    Newport have also rejected an improved £65,000 transfer deadline-day offer from Championship club Burnley for teenage striker Aaron Collins.

    Poole, who had been on trial at United and Liverpool, was the subject of a £60,000 plus add-ons bid from Championship side Hull over the weekend - while Brighton are also interested in the 17-year-old centre-back.

    If the fee was agreed in Euros (an inkling in the back of my mind seems to think so) then any balance owed should save City a considerable sum.

    So we've been under the Impression that SB had to get another striker out before he could get one in. I suspect he won't bother and we will go with what we've got.

    City have just confirmed that they do aim to get another striker in before the window closes tonight.

    Not sure if this one is on the radar, but - Leicester City will allow striker Leonardo Ulloa to leave the club on loan.
