I thought well-known Goalkeeper Thomas Sorensen had retired but he has left Stoke on a free and just signed for Melbourne City. He's only 39 but would surely have a season left in him at this level and of course would have brought valuable experience to the club. Meanwhile, Paul Robinson, who is only 35, has received no offers (that I know of) and could also have been a valuable accession for the Club. I couldn't see either of these demanding a huge wage but (just my opinion) I think either would have been more suitable than this Kuciak bloke.

Just what we need, another keeper signed for a year or two before we ditch them and hunt for another one.

Idk if this has been asked before but does anyone know if these release clauses are only valid this window, or do we have this to look forward to every window they're with us in the Championship?

I think today is the most overrated, over-hyped, overcooked, vapid day in the football calendar.

Maybe it was a novelty the first time Sky got hold of it and tried to wring out every last drop, but several years later it's an extremely desperate spectacle.

You say this as if the club's actions are a reflection on Sky? I don't watch SSN so I can understand your criticism of their treatment, but whether Sky covered it or not there'd be a disproportionate amount of deals being concluded today.

its okay if its not your kid, because then you're not to worried about breaking them

Have what to look forward to? No one seems that interested in our players. Bruce has been making a fuss for weeks but no one's left without our approval.
