And Odubajo and Taylor of course.

 

I played against Waggy. He scored an hat trick and still missed a penalty - as usual.

 

I suffered from premature posting. Taylor doesn't count because he was a FAT

 

You could say we signed him from the Contract-less league.

 

I went to the same school as Stuart Pearson, but didn't play against him.

 

HCSS usually gave Ex-Tigers a good game even though we'd get easily beaten on the scoreline. I managed to get one goal against them. Andy Wilson shot and their goalkeeper saved it and the ball looped high into the air. I got under the ball and was waiting for it to come down. I had my eyes on the ball and was hoping I remembered exactly where the goal was and I was expecting to get clattered any second but I managed to jump and head it goalwards and a defender on the line couldn't stop it going in.
That was the highlight of my HCSS football time!

 

BURNLEY are in negotiations with Brentford over a bid for striker Andre Gray, but reports that an offer of £9million has been accepted are understood to be wide of the mark.

It was also reported this morning that the striker was having a medical ahead of a proposed move to Turf Moor, but those suggestions were premature.

BBC really letting themselves down the last day or so on the Gray transfer!

 

But are Burnley as good at haggling as Ehab?

 

It was also on Skysports.com as well as the BBC, so someone is telling both of them the same porkies. I suspect Mr Hat.

 

Burnley is his preferred choice? Wasn't it reported that Bristol City had made the point that he was waiting for us?

 

I suspect it's Brentford trying to force it through one way or another as I can't be doing their game prep much good and they will want it over with.

 

Surely they wouldn't make up BS like this a day out from a game? Would be even more unsettling for the players.

Someone is feeding the press BS though. Looking at it logically I can't see it being Burnley, Bristol C hinted he wanted to come here so I can't see why Grey or his agent would either.

 

Agree with you, just can't understand it.

 

Roy Greenwood was a Hull City player (obviously before your time). Ron Greenwood was the former England manager.
