Not the way we play which is the problem, we don't create enough chances. We can keep throwing money at strikers for the next five years but until we change our long ball game and get midfielders who venture further than the halfway line we won't solve our goal scoring issues .

Depends who's got it Pete, Elmo goes long and hudd goes sideways and back to the centre back who has just given him it. Meyer gives it to the opposition

That's called having a **** midfield. Which we have. Which is where we should invest, not on a striker.

Then we knock it long, it bounces off jelavic and there midfield pick it up and have acres to run into, I've even seen some players get there binoculars out so they can see how far away our midfield is away from them. Once they are 10 yards in our half they see Tom lumbering towards them

Murray is 31 and has had a couple of serious knee injuries. I'm not sure I'd want to add anymore injury prone players, regardless of their track record.
