Norwich have said that Hooper can go out on loan, but only if his £32k a week wages are paid in full.
Akpom will probably out score Gray this season and I think will start most games. Who will partner him will be unclear until the window shuts.
He really won't. Akpom will certainly do well based on how he's started, but he's 19 FFS. He'll likely score 10-15 goals if we can keep the team together and touch wood no injuries, but Gray will score 20+.
A 19 year old kid doesn't go from having no senior goals in his career to scoring 20+ in the Championship in our set up.
Why many other players have scored a lot at 18 or 19 or 20 ,he has played 3 scored 2 or 2 league games and scored 1 that's 1 in 2 ratio, keep that up all season he will get more than 20.
Ordinarily I'd agree but I was watching him pre-season before I knew anything about him coming here, he's a special talent and I reckon he can easily hit 20 this season
Maybe at a side like Derby, I just don't think we have the free-flowing mentality to allow him to. I guess we'll see, but I'd rather not gamble on a 19 year old kid keeping up that level of consistency over a 46 game season. Would rather the bloke who has been there, done that, bought the T-Shirt last season.
You mean you were just hoping you could post some utter bollocks without being unchallenged. What a surprise.
Only time will tell, my mate is an Arsenal fan not to mention my mother so I watched all their pre-season games, he was amazing and fitted in totally with the Arsenal first teamers, couldn't believe Wenger sent him to us to be honest and can only think he might be signing another big name striker like Benzema
Was Danny Graham doing it at 19 with no senior experience behind him? Akpom's had three disjointed loan spells before now, but other than that hasn't really had a chance to get some consistency in his game. He may well score 20-25, I just seriously doubt he can make that leap so suddenly with us. We just don't strike me as the sort of side that will go out and batter sides 3-0 or 4-0.
We didn't make a loss last year, we won't make a loss this year either and you know perfectly well that wasn't what he meant by 'the club's aspirations'.
Yep I have a few Arsenal mates and watched the game where he got his hatty - two penalties I might add. I think he'll be great for us, but how many strikers have we signed that have started like a house on fire then just dried up for months on end?
